Death of a Cleveland Industrialist
This headline story from the June 13, 1937 edition of the Cleveland Plain Dealer graphically demonstrates the the importance of Ambrose Swasey to the Cleveland business community in the early twentieth century. At the time of his death, Cleveland mayor Harold Burton called him one of the city's "greatest citizens."
