The Joseph and Feiss Co., nationally renowned for its progressive labor policies, closed in 1995, after 150 years of doing business in Cleveland. The factory building was razed in 2003, but the warehouse building was spared and rehabbed as the Menlo Park Academy, a charter school for gifted students, which opened in 2017.
