The building today

The building today
Since 2004 the building has housed the Norma Herr Women's Center, an emergency shelter for homeless women. Norma Herr was a pianist and mother of two who ended up homeless for 17 years before dying here in 2007. The exterior's appearance has suffered somewhat by the replacement of the original doors and the symmetrical stairs to accommodate a disability-access ramp. | Source: February 9, 2012 agenda of the Cleveland Landmarks Commission
