General Electric Building, 1927
The General Electric Lamp Division warehouse and office building at 4966 Woodland Avenue, shown on this plat map, was built on what had previously been the front lawn of the Jewish Orphan Asylum. The GE building later became home to the Woodland Job Center, which grew out of a partnership between GE and the Cleveland school district. | Date: 1927 | Source: G. M.
