Rev. Lewis Burton's House

Rev. Lewis Burton's House
This Italianate style house, which once stood at 4815 Franklin Boulevard, was built in circa 1872 for Rev. Lewis Burton and his family shortly after he became the first rector at St. Mark's Episcopal Church . Rev. Burton lived in the house until his death in 1894. The house was owned by the Burton family until 1907. It is no longer standing today. Its former site is now occupied by the Franklin West Apartments.
