View of nineteenth century Franklin Boulevard
This copy of a rare 150-year old photograph taken in 1870 from atop the Kentucky Street Reservoir shows Franklin Boulevard (wide street in middle of photo) as well as a section of Kentucky (West 38th) Street (intersecting Franklin). The object in the foreground is part of the railing for the steps that led to the top of the reservoir. It was a 70 step climb up to the famous promenade walk and its great views of the City. | Source: Cleveland Public Library, Photograph Collection
