Tammy Seals

Tammy Seals
In October 1980, straight-A student Tammy Seals was delivering newspaper on her early morning route when she was abducted, raped and murdered. Her body was found four months later, in February 1981, in a room on the second floor of the vacant Spitzer-Dempsey House. (Note that in the article the Plain Dealer incorrectly reported that the house was originally owned by James H. Dempsey, rather than by his father, Colonel John Dempsey.) | Source: Cleveland Public Library, Digital Newspaper Collection
